Prisoner Dog CostumeI wanted a Halloween costume so I started searching for Creative Halloween Costumes on-line. I looked at a number of companies that sell the costumes as well as websites advertising them. I also checked Squidoo for information and I found an interesting article, The Best Creative Halloween Costumes.

I made a decision on what I thought was the best place to do business with. They have a huge variety of costumes and other party and costume related items listed. I believe they provide a much better showing of the costumes than the other sites I found. There are costumes for just about everyone and their pets.

What about a costume for your pet. Yes, they have those also. I just loved the “Zelda Cave Dog” costume. You really have to check that out. A couple of others that I thought were great were the “Raptor Pet Costume” and the “Hammerhead Shark”.

If you are a plus sized person, like I am, you will find a link to costumes with you in mind. They also have sections for babies, toddlers and preteens as well as adults. Just about everyone can find just what they need to make Halloween, and all their parties throughout the year, great.

While you are there, make sure you women check out the video on “How to make your costume appropriate for work and sexy for the club.” That is a really nice touch with you women in mind. There is a lot of ideas in that video.

Now let’s talk about the important stuff. They have sales listed that you just don’t want to miss. They have a “Costume of the Week” and “Five Deals Under $5″ for those people working on a tight budget. The company they advertise for also has free shipping on orders over a certain amount.

The name of the site I am talking about is New Creative Halloween Costumes. If you are looking for costumes I’m sure they will point you to just what you need. You can visit their site at www.newcreativehalloweencostumes.com. I hope you find Your Perfect Costume.

Go on over and check them out now.

Rockwell BladeRunner sawI have been seeing advertisements for the Rockwell BladeRunner saw on television lately and it looks pretty interesting. There is a very good review of the saw on the site “Rockwell BladeRunner Review“. I don’t own a BladeRunner yet but after reading what other people have said about it I am very tempted to buy one for my shop.

There are a number of what I consider to be great features. Among these is it’s portability and easy storage. I can use the wall mount so I don’t have to take up bench space and when I’m through using it, just pick it up and put it on a shelf out of the way. This is a really great feature. I also like the way the blade is inserted and removed. It couldn’t be easier or faster. They have even supplied a simple blade holder so you don’t get burned with a hot blade or cut. Outstanding!

The Rockwell BladeRunner will cut wood up to 1 1/2″, metal, plastic and even ceramic tile. What more could you ask from an inexpensive saw.

I could make this review a lot longer but “Rockwell BladeRunner Reviews” has done such an outstanding job I’m just going to point you to their site. There you will find an excellent description, customer review and even excellent videos to show the functioning of it and it’s attachments. Make sure to check out the “Accessories” page while you are there for more information on it’s accessories and blades.

In another post I described how to recover data from a computer that wouldn’t boot.

In Installing And Using Acronis True Image Home I installed it and gave you a step by step while doing that. I also briefly described some of the features.

Today I will cover using Acronis True Image Home 2009 PC Backup & Recovery to backup a complete Windows or Linux system step by step. This should work on just about any computer system or disk that you want.

Acronis True Image Home 2010

I have already created a backup of my Ubuntu 9.04 system. I have my operating system in one partition, my “Home” in another partition and of course there is the “Swap” partition. I also backed up my “Data” drive while I was at it. I did a backup of all four at the same time. On looking at my backup file I see that it also did a backup of the “MBR and Track 0″ which I didn’t ask for. Looks pretty good to me.

Acronis_True_Image_2010_350This is the third in a series about the fantastic Acronis True Image Home 2009 PC Backup & Recovery. The first post was Recover Data From A Computer That Will Not Boot and the second was Backup your system with Acronis True Image Home. In this one I will install Acronis True Image Home 2009 and describe some of it’s features. Hopefully those of you that are hesitant about taking on a task like this will see it’s not complicated to do.

Acronis True Image Home 2010

Acronis True Image Home 2010

Do you know someone
that has lost important data?

ATIH-banner-1-250x250-EN.gifEveryone knows you should backup your system and data. However, not everyone is willing to take the time to do so. This is a big mistake, as a friend of mine found out the hard way. She lost years of genealogy data, all of her digital photographs, all of her data files and her email. All this happened due to the loss of some of the .dll files in her Windows operating system.

Sometimes You Can Recover Lost Data

Sometimes you can recover lost data if you have the right software. After trying all kinds of Geeky things that didn’t work, I managed to recover all the data my friend lost with Acronis True Image Home. Don’t take a chance. How ever you do it, back it up.  I recommend Acronis True Image Home to all my friends. Give it a try.

Backup Your System, Windows or Linux

Even though it is a Windows program, it can be run from the disk to do both a backup and a restore of the backup. Acronis True Image Home will backup a complete Windows or Linux system and it should work on just about any computer system or disk that you have.

I created a backup of my Ubuntu 9.04 system to test it.
